What is WolfX?
WolfX is a software product for UK business-to-business invoice recovery. It helps you organise the evidence behind an overdue invoice, prepare a Letter Before Action, assemble a Court Readiness Pack, and keep a tidy, referenceable record of what you sent and when.
The aim is simple: turn a messy chase into a structured, evidence-led workflow you can use yourself, hand to a solicitor, or put in front of a compliance or finance reviewer. You stay in control of every decision. WolfX prepares and organises; you choose what to send and what to do next.
What does WolfX do?
| Capability | What it means in practice |
|---|---|
| Evidence Vault | Store and reference the invoices, contracts, emails, delivery notes, and timelines behind a debt in one place. |
| Letter Before Action | Help you prepare a formal LBA that sets out the debt, the evidence, and the next steps. |
| Court Readiness Pack | Help you assemble an organised pack of evidence for internal, solicitor, or pre-action review. |
| Interest and compensation | Help you work out statutory interest and fixed compensation on a qualifying B2B debt. |
What is WolfX NOT?
This is the part that matters most. WolfX is deliberately narrow, and we are explicit about the boundaries so you are never misled about what you are buying.
| WolfX is NOT a… | What that means |
|---|---|
| Law firm or solicitor | We do not provide legal advice or legal representation. We cannot advise on the merits of your case. |
| Debt collection agency | We do not collect debts on your behalf or chase debtors as your agent. |
| Court | Documents we help you prepare are not court filings and are not official or certified court documents. |
| Payment processor | We do not take, hold, or move debtor payments. Money never flows through WolfX. |
| Regulated collector | We are not a regulated debt collector and do not act as one. |
What is WolfX's legal posture?
This site and the product provide general information, not legal advice. Nothing WolfX produces is a substitute for advice from a qualified solicitor on your specific circumstances. If you need advice on the merits of a dispute, take it.
We do not guarantee recovery. No software can promise that a debtor will pay. WolfX helps you prepare and organise; outcomes depend on the facts, the debtor, and the steps you choose to take.
We do not file court claims for you, and we do not collect payments. If you decide to issue a claim, you do that yourself or through a solicitor, using the official routes such as Money Claim Online. If a debtor pays, they pay you directly, not WolfX.
How does WolfX work with solicitors?
WolfX is designed to sit comfortably alongside professional advice rather than replace it. Because everything is evidence-led and organised in one place, the output is easy to hand to a solicitor when a matter needs legal input.
Many users prepare the groundwork in WolfX — the evidence, the timeline, a draft Letter Before Action — and then ask a solicitor to review or take over before any formal step. You are free to involve a solicitor at any point. WolfX never positions itself as a substitute for that relationship.
How does WolfX handle your data?
Your recovery records are yours. WolfX stores the documents and evidence you add so you can reference them across a case, and keeps an organised record of what you prepared. We use your data to operate the product for you, not to chase debtors as your agent.
For the detail on storage, access, and the controls around your records, see our security page. If you have a specific data question, contact us and we will answer it directly.
WolfX is software for evidence-backed invoice recovery workflows. WolfX is not a law firm, debt collection agency, court, or payment processor. This site provides general information, not legal advice.
