Frequently asked questions
What is WolfX?
WolfX is software for UK business-to-business companies that helps you prepare evidence-backed invoice recovery workflows. It helps you organise overdue-invoice records in an Evidence Vault, generate Letters Before Action, and build Court Readiness Packs for internal, solicitor, compliance, or pre-action review. WolfX is a tool you use — it is not a law firm.
Is WolfX a debt collection agency?
No. WolfX is software, not a debt collection agency and not a regulated collector. It does not chase debtors on your behalf or pursue recovery as your agent. It helps you prepare and organise your own recovery evidence and documents, which you (or your solicitor) then act on.
Is WolfX a solicitor?
No. WolfX is not a solicitor or law firm and does not represent you. It is a software tool that helps you prepare documents and organise evidence. If you need representation or advice on your specific situation, speak to a qualified solicitor.
Does WolfX give legal advice?
No. WolfX provides general information and document-preparation tools only. Nothing in the product or on this site is legal advice, and using WolfX does not create a solicitor-client relationship. For advice on your circumstances, consult a qualified professional.
Does WolfX file court claims?
No. WolfX does not currently file court claims for users. It helps you prepare a Court Readiness Pack and organise your evidence so that you, your solicitor, or your adviser can review the matter and decide on next steps. Any court filing is something you arrange yourself.
Does WolfX create CCJs?
No. WolfX does not create County Court Judgments. Only a court can issue a CCJ, and that happens through the court process — not through WolfX. WolfX only helps you assemble and organise the evidence and documents that may support a claim.
Does WolfX guarantee recovery?
No. WolfX does not guarantee recovery of any debt. Whether an invoice is paid depends on the debtor, the facts, and the steps you take. WolfX helps you prepare a stronger, better-organised case — it does not promise an outcome.
What is an Evidence Vault?
The Evidence Vault is where WolfX lets you store and reference the records behind an overdue invoice — such as the invoice, contract or terms, delivery confirmations, and your reminder correspondence. Keeping this evidence organised in one place makes internal, solicitor, compliance, or pre-action review faster and clearer.
What is a Court Readiness Pack?
A Court Readiness Pack is a structured bundle WolfX helps you compile that draws together the evidence and details relevant to an overdue B2B debt. It is intended to help you, your solicitor, or your adviser review the matter before any pre-action or court step. It is not a court filing and not an official or certified court document.
Can debtors dispute or promise to pay?
Yes. A debtor can dispute the amount, raise a query, or promise to pay at any point — that is a normal part of the recovery process. WolfX helps you keep a clear, organised record of your invoice and correspondence so any dispute or payment promise can be reviewed in context. WolfX does not adjudicate disputes.
Does WolfX collect debtor payments?
No. WolfX does not currently collect debtor payments directly and is not a payment processor. Any payment a debtor makes is arranged between you and the debtor through your own arrangements. WolfX only helps you prepare and organise the surrounding evidence and documents.
Is physical post available?
Not currently. WolfX does not currently send physical post. It helps you prepare and organise your documents — including a Letter Before Action — which you can then send yourself by your preferred method.
WolfX is software for evidence-backed invoice recovery workflows. WolfX is not a law firm, debt collection agency, court, or payment processor. This site provides general information, not legal advice.
