For the winter of 2023, Anglian Water Services Limited reported 36 days, on average. That bill would have been paid on 11 June. A year later: 44 days, paid 19 June. In its latest report, for last winter: 59 days. Paid 4 July.

Its own stated terms are 30 days from the end of the month, “average term 45 days”. At 59 days on average, it is now past its own 45.

Anglian Water Services Limited, 1 October 2025 to 31 March 2026: an average of 59 days to pay; 17% of invoices paid within 30 days; 27% paid later than 60 days; 32% not paid within the agreed terms. Of the £443m it paid in those six months, £139m was paid later than agreed.
A year earlier, 1 October 2024 to 31 March 2025: an average of 44 days; 15% not paid within agreed terms. Two years earlier, 1 October 2023 to 31 March 2024: an average of 36 days; 20%.
